Mr. Farnsworth practices in the areas of business law, estate planning and probate, real estate, and civil property litigation. He joined the firm as a law clerk in February 2021 during his final semester of law school and continued as an Associate Attorney after taking and passing the July 2021 Colorado Bar Exam.
Mr. Farnsworth received his undergraduate degree cum laude from Thomas Edison State University in 2016 with a major in Political Science. After a two-year hiatus to explore numerous passions and interests, including viticulture and winemaking, ski instructing, and international travel, Mr. Farnsworth earned his law degree at Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he graduated in the top fifteen of his class. While at Regent, Mr. Farnsworth was a member of the Law School’s Honors Program and received two Ronald L. Fick Book Awards for achieving the highest grade in his classes on Drafting Contracts and Advanced Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing. He also served two years as a class representative of the Student Bar Association (student government) and was an active member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Skills Board and the Business Law Society.
To gain practical experience, Mr. Farnsworth had several internships and clerkships, including with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, the Pima County Attorney’s Office, and three firms specializing in business and real estate law. In addition, Mr. Farnsworth had the opportunity to assist one of his law school professors prosecuting and appealing a civil property dispute to the Virginia Supreme Court.
When not in the office, Mr. Farnsworth enjoys spending time with friends, volunteering for political and community causes, and engaging in a wide range of outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking, and most of all, downhill skiing.
Mr. Farnsworth is licensed to practice in Colorado and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the El Paso County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
